Lloyds British Training Services have been selected to undertake a major programme of training for Tide Marine in Egypt, who are one of the worlds leading Maritime Support Companies.
Lloyds British were selected because of their broad range of services and particular expertise in working in offshore environments.
Delivering a broad range of courses ranging from specialist lifting and slinging on support vessels to training key personnel in Risk Assessment and Accident Investigation principles, Lloyds British have already made a major contribution to enhancing safety practices at the operating base in the Red Sea and at the land base in Cairo.
Steve Downing Group Safety and Training Director said " working in multi hazard environments, especially off shore, calls for particular skills and experience and our ability to make improvements quickly has increased the demand for our training courses, which without doubt, has been from the oil and gas Industry ".
Lloyds British Training Services will continue to be the principal focus on driving safety standards in the offshore Industry, especially in the Middle East where further new branches will be opening this year.
