Lloyds British Training have recently completed an extensive programme of health and safety training for Songa Offshore.
Based on their vessels in Equatorial Guinea, Lloyds Trainers delivered specialist programmes of crane operation, lifting gear inspection and slinging for the personnel involved in exploration duties.
Steve Downing Training and Safety Director for Lloyds said “ this project required total flexibility due to the sea going requirements of the vessels and our Training Team were on board for the whole duration of the ships tour. Songa needed maritime expertise from their provider and Lloyds British were without question the only provider that they would consider “.
Lloyds British will continue to send their Instructors to overseas ports to join up with Songas vessels as and when required this year.
