Brooklyn Mainport Shipping, the Aberdeen based maritime supplier have called upon Lloyds British Training to provide training on specialist ship based lifting machines for their support fleet personnel.
The decision to use Lloyds British was based purely on their expertise and experience in the oil and gas sector and the maritime industry.
Lloyds Training staff joined the fleet in Las Palmas Spain and provided training on one of the latest Deck Mounted Pedestal Cranes to be used by an offshore vessel.
Lloyds British will then re-join the fleet at crew change stages in West Africa and deliver further training to the new crews .
Steve Downing Group Safety and Training Director for Lloyds British said "Our company has an unrivalled reputation worldwide for Health and Safety training and Thorough Examination of Work Equipment and Brooklyn Shipping wanted to use an International company that had not only the experience and skills but also the global resources to facilitate the programmes".
