St Gobain - British Gypsum have worked in partnership with Lloyds British Training Services at Fuld Mine in Staffordshire, the largest Gypsum works in Europe.

Lloyds British are assisting in delivering safety sessions to the staff who are involved in underground work at the Mine during their annual safety week.

Every member of the workforce will receive training from a Lloyds British Safety Specialist on the hazards that they could face when conducting lifting activities onsite.

As the preferred supplier of Health and Safety Training for British Gypsum, Lloyds British can deliver a broad range of courses at any of the organisation’s locations.

Steve Downing, Group Safety and Training Director said "Underground workings pose many potentials for danger and our client leaves nothing to chance where the safety of their workforce is concerned. We are very proud to have been asked back to take part in this exercise and will be contributing to achieve enhanced safety practices, which now includes supplying the client with their work equipment and loose lifting accessories direct from our IPD Division based at West Bromwich".
